How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP?

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. Make sure to select your dinner choice and lodging plans. Kindly RSVP by 9/2. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity.

What happens if I do not RSVP in time?

If we do not get an RSVP back by 9/2, it will be marked as a “No.” We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide a total guest count to the venue in the timely manner they have given to us and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones at our wedding unless specifically indicated on your envelope. If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration and will ensure that folks will be around familiar and friendly company. We appreciate your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones- however, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. The only exception is children in our immediate family or in the wedding party, and these will be marked on your invitations. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Is there a dress code?

Semi-formal. Please no jeans, shorts, or anything less casual. Short or long dresses/jumpsuits for women. Sport coats optional for men.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both will be held indoors. With it being fall, we do recommend a light jacket if you need it while stepping outside. During the cocktail hour you will get the chance to sit on the patio at the venue.

How does seating work?

For the ceremony, sit wherever you please. However, during the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner). We know weddings are a mixing pot of guests who may not know one another, and we want to ease any anxieties!

What do I do if I am late for the ceremony?

The ceremony will start promptly at 4 PM, and we recommend that guests arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, our coordinator will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception so hang tight and we will see you then! Thank you for understanding!

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Yes!

Is there parking available at the venue?

No, there is no parking available at the venue. If you plan to stay at The Broadway, it is only a block from the venue and you can park in their guest parking garage. If not, we have kindly asked the First Christian Church across the street to use their parking and you may park there. If that fills up, there is ample parking in the garages or along the streets downtown.

Is it an open or cash bar? What kind of alcohol is available?

There will be an open bar provided to guests, with an assortment of beer, wine, and liquor, as well as two signature cocktails. During cocktail hour and dinner we will only be providing beer, wine, and the signature cocktails. The rest of the bar will be open once dinner ends.

Since there will be alcohol, what do we do about driving?

We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. Bri was a STRIPES driver in college after all. As such, you are welcome to leave your car overnight where you parked it downtown, as the City of Columbia does not ticket on Sundays. We encourage Uber, Lyft, or Taxis. Additionally, many are staying close by at The Broadway, which is an easy walking distance from the venue.

Can we take our own pictures and videos throughout the day?

Our ceremony will be unplugged. For this, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away and there to be no pictures or videos taken. You are more than welcome to take pictures and videos throughout the course of the reception! This is such a special day for us and we have the most amazing photography team documenting our entire day. That way you are able to celebrate and be in the moment with us!
