Guests are reminded that Door County does NOT have services such as taxi, Uber or Lyft. As such, any guests not staying at Gordon Lodge or at one of the three hotels on the shuttle line will be responsible to get themselves safely back to their accommodation after the reception.

All wedding activities will take place at Gordon Lodge. There is a room block available at this location that offers various room layouts including lodge rooms, cabins, studios, etc. Guests will need to call Gordon Lodge directly and mention the Vonnahme/Rudolph wedding in order to book in the block and receive the applied discount.Guests staying at Gordon Lodge will have complimentary breakfast every morning of their stay and also enjoy golf cart rides back to their cabins after the wedding ends at 11pm.

The Landing Resort will be 1 of 3 pick up locations on the shuttle line. Guests are asked to book early as room blocks are not allowed at this location.

For guests choosing to spend more time in Door County, a trip to Washington Island is a MUST! Washington Island is a small island community with beautiful stone beaches, a lookout tower and unbeatable views! America's oldest continuously running bar, Nelson's Hall Bitters Pub, is also located here and has been serving up whitefish boils and shots of bitters since 1899!Island go-ers will need to purchase a ticket for the 25 minute ferry ride through Porte des Morts (Death's Door) to enjoy everything Washington Island has to offer!**This is the bride's favorite stop on the way through to camping on Rock Island! Cana Island is a small, serene landmass sitting just off the coast of the Door Peninsula, near Baileys Harbor. Visitors reach the island via haywagon ride over&nbsp;a sandy causeway or, when the water is low enough, by wading through on foot. On the eastern edge of the island sits one of the most-iconic and most-photographed lighthouses in Door County and Wisconsin at large—the idyllic Cana Island Lighthouse. While here, travelers can hike the 97-step staircase to see panoramic views of the lake and peninsula, tour the lighthouse and other buildings, explore the lake on a kayak tour, or simply wander the island and listen to the sounds of waves crashing against the stone foundations.
