Should we learn french?

C'est magnifique! But fear not, mon cher ami, your presence alone will add a certain je ne sais quoi to the festivities. Embrace the joie de vivre, and together, we'll create a wedding to remember!

How do we get there?

Our best advice would be to fly into Avignon. This city is very close to the region where the wedding will be held. You could also fly into Paris and get a train to Avignon. We recommend trying to make it to Avingon by Thursday June 27th. A lot of the wedding party will be there and we will all be renting cars / vans from there and driving to Sault. If we can all meet here, it will be easier to connect with others and carpool to save some money and not travel alone.

Where are we staying?

That depends on what you want to do. Check the travel page for information on a location provided by the venue. There are also a ton of Airbnbs around the area. Let us know if you need some help finding a room or coordinating with others.

What do we wear?

Cocktail or semi-formal dress code: Welcome to our classy and chic outdoor wedding! We want you to feel comfortable and stylish as we celebrate under the open skies. Please opt for lightweight and breathable materials, allowing you to move with ease and grace. Embrace the beauty of nature with muted, soft, and natural colors, and let modest patterns add a touch of elegance to your attire. Ladies, as the star of the day is the bride, let's avoid wearing white at all costs. We also kindly request you to steer clear of bold colors and patterns, allowing the bride and groom to shine brightly in the spotlight. Let's all come together to create a picturesque ambiance where sophistication meets charm. Dress to impress, and let's make this day unforgettable in the most stylish way!

What does the weekend schedule look like?

Check the home page for more information, but the weekend will essentially be split into three days. Friday will be set up for the event and hanging out at the venue the night before. Then, we will have the wedding the following day. It will be in the afternoon and into the evening. Lastly, we will be having a brunch on Sunday to finish off the festivities.

What do we do after the wedding?

After the wedding, we are hoping to stay in the Luberon region for at least 1-2 more days to explore the small hilltop villages. Please let us know if you are interested so we can try and book a house as a group. Other than that, feel free to explore the french countryside, continue your vacation elsewhere, or head home a world traveler!

What about the registry?

As we begin our journey together, we've decided against a traditional registry. To us, your presence at our wedding in France is the greatest gift we could ask for so please do not feel obligated to bring a gift or get anything. If you do feel like you want to give a gift, we will be setting up a honeymoon fund to support our travel adventures. Since we love to travel and have enough “things,” we thought this would be appropriate. Your gift would mean the world to us and help create beautiful memories. Again though, please do not feel obligated, we just want you there to enjoy our wedding with us. Thank you for your love and support.
