Where should I park?
There is a public parking lot right outside the venue, as well as metered parking. But, we can't guarantee it will be easy or cheap to secure a spot. There are several parking lots and garages within walking distance, too.
Pro tip: You should know that you can park on most residential streets in Worcester for free. But, few of those streets are within walking distance of the venue on Green Street. You could try carpooling or taking a ride-hailing service to the venue.
Thanks for dealing with us!
The venue website has a detailed list of parking options here: https://www.thewhiteroomworcester.com/directions-parking
What's the programming? What should I do with myself?
We'll be married in a private ceremony early Saturday morning.
Our wedding reception begins at 5 p.m. Get in, grab a drink and start hanging out. It's an open bar for beer and wine until 8 p.m. and a cash bar after 8 p.m. Bring cash and don't forget to tip the bartender. There will be light refreshments out for you to serve yourselves, and there are no assigned seats or tables. Find a place to put your body, and get to know our loved ones.
Try to be prompt, but we're not going to start formally talking about how much we love each other until like 6 p.m.
At 6 p.m., we'll interrupt the mingling and ask you to politely stop activity near the bar so you can hear us briefly exchange joint vows. We'll then do a first dance and invite everyone to hit the dance floor with us.
Why no dinner?
To save money and time, of course! We hope you'll still love your favorite cheapskate beatskates after this!
The venue is next door to an acclaimed international food hall with just about every cuisine you could imagine. It is situated in a neighborhood with plenty of dining options. Eat something before you come, but we'll also serve plenty of hors d'oeuvres, appetizers and desserts. This party is about hanging and dancing.
What should I wear?
Dress nice. It's a wedding. Semi-formal or business casual is totally fine. Wear something your family members would be happy with you about. There aren't any important colors to avoid or wear besides the obvious. Jewel tones are beautiful.
What is this song Lisa and Brian won't stop playing?
Our first dance will be to the song "you will always bring me flowers" by Shannon and the Clams.
If you've never heard it before, by all means, get familiar, cause you're gonna hear it ... maybe more than once.

What else should I know?
We keep threatening to play a bride and groom ping-pong match, but TBD. Feel free to challenge us and others. If the weather is nice, we'll have access to the courtyard outside the venue. That's where a ping-pong table should be setup.
Should I keep checking this website?
We probably forgot some detail that matters, and as a result, we'll keep updating this Q&A section with more information. So maybe set some reminder to check this site about a week before the wedding.
