Brian and Lupe were on vacation in Puerta Vallarta Mexico in January of 2023. They were staying at Paradise Village Resort. They did several different day trips while there and really felt incredibly comfortable together in everything they were doing. On one of the days they were talking with some people about coming back to vacation at the resort and somehow the conversation turned into make long term plans for trips, travel, and their future together and they realized they were completely ready to "Just Say Yes". They came home and told the story of how that conversation happened and surprised everyone with their story of how they decided they were going to get married.

Shortly after returning from Puerto Vallarta they went engagement ring shopping. They went to a few different places and took some time to make sure it was the right ring. They found the perfect ring! They ordered it and waited for it to arrive. When they got the call they went to the store to pick it up and it was spectacular. A short time later someone asked how Brian proposed and that was when Brian realized he had not gotten down on one knee and actually asked Lupe to marry him. They laughed a lot about that and he got down on one knee and asked her and she said "Yes", of course.

After the engagement became official and family was told, Brian and Lupe began planning for combining the 2 homes and families. It was pretty easy since everyone loved Lupe and Brian, loved how they were together as a couple, and how happy they made each other. In the summer of 2023 they joined together in one house and began planning their wedding, along with their future life together. The planning was pretty easy since they agreed on all the things they wanted to do, for both the wedding and their future. They painted the most beautiful pictures together. And now, in a few short months, Lupe will meet Brian at the end of the isle at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Sun Prairie, the church Brian grew up in as a child. And they will "Just Say Yes" and be Husband and Wife, forever!!
