Our love story started five and a half years ago when Belen was making a life changing decision to leave Ecuador and come to New Jersey as an Au Pair.

Before arriving in the United States, Belen had made a new Quiteña friend who was already living in New Jersey and she offered to take Belen out for a welcome dinner when she arrived.

During that dinner, she showed Belen a dating app and little did she know that it would be the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.

Fast forward one week and we finally got to meet. The night started out by obviously eating pizza and then obviously following it with vanilla ice cream! As if that was enough, we somehow squeezed in a movie, bowling and arcade games. We continued our routine of talking during the week and hanging out on the weekends, going on adventures all over the tri-state area.

Despite Covid-19 locking us down for months and Belen's Au Pair family moving to Texas, she still found her way back to New Jersey following her Au Pair program. Belen moved in with Brian and his friends in Rahway and she truly felt like Jess from New Girl. Our journey continued to our own apartment in London Terrace to eventually buying our house in Old Bridge and sharing it with all our little fur babies!
