Questions? Answers!

When is the last day to RSVP?

We have extended our RSVP date. Kindly RSVP before January 12th 2025.

Until when can we book a room at the hotel?

January 8th, 2025. After this date the hotel rooms are no longer guaranteed. Please kindly call the hotel with our names "Gutierrez-Lefrancois" if you'd still like to book and they will do their best to accommodate.

What should I wear?

The overall attire is Semi-Formal. We ask that all guests attending the Church Ceremony be conscious of the conservative dress code of our parish (eg: covered shoulders, avoid low- cut tops, dress hems below the knees, full- length pants etc.) While your comfort is important to us, we would appreciate that guests avoid casual wear (jeans, athletic or lounge attire). Although if you wish to change to some dancing shoes after dinner, we won't say no! Traditional cultural garb (eg: Barong Tagalog or Filipiniana, etc.) are welcome. We would deeply appreciate it if *white* dresses and coverups are avoided; with the exception of traditional cultural garments. If you feel so inclined, it would be a wonderful surprise if you'd support our wedding colour scheme in your own unique way. Please see the image below for our colour palate.

Are you registered anywhere for gifts?

Your presence is the most important thing to us! However if you wish to bring a gift, we would appreciate any monetary donation to our "Happy Home" fund as we have already started to build our home together.

What cultural traditions are you honouring?

During our Ceremony we will be honouring the Filipino traditions of the Veil, the Cord and the Coins. These elements represent the binding together as one, protecting each other and providing for one another. During our reception we will have the "SOCK DANCE" or DANSE SUR DES BAS- a French-Canadian tradition where the unmarried the siblings of the Bride & Groom dance in outrageous colourful (or ugly funny) socks while the guests cheer them on! If you wish to participate, you can have some cash on hand to throw at their feet! (PS: The Bride & Groom get to keep the cash).

What's for Dinner?

A server will take your order at the table, so there is no need to include your preference when you RSVP. Meal options for your mains are as follows: Truffle Stuffed Chicken with goat cheese, caramelized onion puree | Roasted Arctic Char with citrus, pomegranate, basil salsa | Braised Short Rib with wild mushroom ragu, caramelized cippolini, pan jus | For our vegetarian guests: Root Vegetable Ratatouille with tomato passata, vegan feta, micro basil | All entrees are served with seasonal vegetables and butter- whipped Yukon gold potatoes.

Where can I park?

The hotel has valet parking for $25 ($45 overnight for non hotel guests). There is also a paid parking lot across the street, along with city parking along Lakeshore Road, and surrounding streets. Please take care when parking your vehicle.

Can I bring a plus one?

While we would love to include everyone with their partners and/or little ones, we have a cap on our guest list. When RSVP-ing under the RSVP tab, the number of seats in your party is limited to the names listed. Should additional seating open up, we will reach out to you directly. Hotel security is very strict and they will have a copy of our guest list so that our guests can move freely in our reception space. Thank you for understanding.

Who do I contact if I have additional Questions?
