Our Wedding

Brian &amp; Kaitlin first met at John Glenn High School in Algebra. After a few months of getting to know one another, they began dating on February 7th, 2016. From this moment, they became inseparable.

Our Beginning

Kaitlin completed her undergrad at Eastern Michigan University studying Social Work. During her time at EMU, she met her Maid of Honor Abbey and Bridesmaid Addison. After her time at EMU she completed her Masters of Social Work at the University of Michigan. Brian studied Communication at Michigan State University. During his time he spent 5 years as a member of the Michigan State Baseball program. While at MSU he met 2 of his best friends - Best Man Wyatt and Groomsman Dom. Through these 6 years, Brian and Kaitlin navigated long distance for the first time. Their love for each other propelled them through this period, and they came out stronger than ever!

College Years

After graduating from university, Brian and Kaitlin were able to move to the next step in their relationship... ENGAGEMENT! Brian proposed to Kaitlin on the dunes overlooking Lake Michigan. The hike to get there was demanding but well worth it. After 8 short years, Brian and Kaitlin were officially engaged on August 5th, 2023.

Engagement

After becoming engaged, Brian and Kaitlin were able to move in with each other. During this time they have enjoyed the pleasures of home decorating, cooking meals, and coming home to find the other there. Brian and Kaitlin became dog owners shortly after moving in together. They adopted their fur baby Vader in November 2023. Vader enjoys long walks with his humans and running at the baseball field with his dad.

On our own

On April 21st, 2025 their lives changed forever. Brian and Kaitlin welcomed their daughter, Maisie Mae Martin. In the short weeks since blessing their lives, Maisie has strengthened their bond not only together, but now as a family of 3. Maisie loves spending time with her parents and they love their time with her even more.

Kaitlin and Abbey met at Eastern Michigan University (in over their heads in nursing classes). They have been partners in crime since!

Brian and Wyatt met as teammates and roommates at MSU. Countless hours were spent pushing each other to be the best versions of themselves! #6&7

Ronnie and Kaitlin met through Brian and Dom. They became close "watching" their men on the ball field.

Brandon is Brian's older brother. They spend most of their time  now golfing, hunting, and gaming with each other! Just some dudes being bros.

Addison is Kaitlin's friend from EMU. They may be far in distance, but never far in heart!

Jake is Brian's cousin. Whether it was on a baseball field, the lanes, or at Grandma's, Brian and Jake could always be found together!

Brian and Dom met at MSU. They were roommates and teammates. There were many hours spent between the field, road, library and home together! #TommyBros

Kaitlin's Older Brother. They spend most of their time now exchanging photos of their beautiful kiddos.
