When is the RSVP deadline?
April 12th, 2025. We kindly ask that you RSVP by this date to ensure ample time to finalize our wedding day arrangements. RSVPs will be collected on the RSVP tab of this website.
What is the dress code?
Cocktail / Semi-formal. We want our guests to look and feel their best, so pick something you love and feel comfortable in! There are paved pathways leading to The Piper Palm House so any shoes are appropriate, however any guests who choose to wear heels may want a change of shoes for our reception which will be on grass. We ask that women refrain from wearing white, cream, or any other color typically reserved for the bride. Please see the linked guide below for more clothing inspiration.
Are children invited to the wedding?
Although we love the little ones in our lives, we have decided on a child free wedding.
Can I bring a plus one?
We are having a small and intimate wedding, so we ask that only the people listed on your invitation attend.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be taking place indoors and our reception will be held outdoors on a grassy area (unless there is inclement weather), so please plan accordingly.
When should I arrive for the ceremony?
We ask that guests arrive by 1:45 PM, so you can find your seat and get settled before the ceremony begins. Doors to the venue will open at 1:30 PM for anyone who wants to arrive early.
Where can I park at the ceremony?
There is ample "street" parking around The Piper Palm House and Tower Grove Park. Parking is along all of the streets running through the park, unless otherwise stated, and it is usually easy to find a spot. However, if there are any other events happening that day, it could get a bit more crowded. We recommend factoring in time to find a parking spot and walk to the venue. We also recommend that guests carpool if possible to help with parking at our reception.
Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during our ceremony to allow our amazing photographer to capture the moment. However, we would love everyone to take as many photos as they please throughout the rest of the day! And we would love to see them - we will have a shared photo album for everyone to add their pictures to.
What should I do between the ceremony and reception?
We will be having a short break between our ceremony and reception. During this time, we encourage guests to explore Tower Grove Park, mingle with one another, or just relax! Note- our home is about a 30 minute drive from Tower Grove Park, so please factor that travel time into your plans.
Where can I park at the reception?
We will be hosting our reception at our home. You can park along the street throughout our neighborhood, but please be respectful of our neighbors. We recommend guests to carpool if possible as to not overwhelm our street.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
We want to make sure everyone can safely enjoy dinner, drinks, and snacks at our reception. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in your RSVP reply.
What if I want to bring a gift?
Your attendance of our big day is present enough! However if you wish to bring a gift, we would be happy to receive it at the reception or via mail. Please see the registry tab of our website for further information.
What if I have any other questions?
Please feel free to reach out to Brian or Tarryn with any other questions you may have. We want everyone to feel fully informed going into our big day!
