Q: Can I still RSVP for the wedding?
A: Thank you for your interest! Our seating and headcount were finalized on August 1st, 2024. However, if you have a small party, please reach out to Brian or Melissa directly. We may be able to make accommodations at the restaurant. We're excited to celebrate with all our guests!
Q: When should I let you know if I can make it?
A: We'd love to have you there! To help us plan accordingly, please RSVP by August 1st, 2024.
Q: What's the dress code?
A: We're aiming for a semi-formal vibe. Think cocktail dresses for the ladies and suits and ties for the gents.
Q: Do I need to RSVP for the ceremony?
A: We're getting married on the Mayor's balcony! It's a beautiful, intimate space, and letting us know if you can make it by August 1st helps us set out the chairs. There's also some limited standing room available, and we can always mingle around city hall after the ceremony!
Q: Can I bring my little ones (under 10)?
A: While we'd love to celebrate with your whole family, to ensure a smooth ceremony and reception, we're hoping to limit the number of young children. If you have any questions or your little one absolutely needs to come, please let us know in the RSVP notes or reach out directly.
Q: Can I bring a plus one?
A: Absolutely! We'd love to celebrate with your significant other. Please include their name when you RSVP.
Q: Asking the real questions here: is there an open bar?
A: We appreciate your priorities! While there's no open bar, we'll have wine and soft drinks. Plus, you can bring your own favorite beverage, no corkage fee!
Q: What kind of food will be served?
A: Get ready for a delicious feast! We'll be having a traditional Chinese wedding banquet with over 9 courses. Expect a variety of dishes symbolizing good luck, prosperity, and happiness for our new chapter together. We'll have a mix of seafood, meat, vegetables, and of course, noodles and rice for a truly satisfying experience!
Q: Is there parking available at the Ceremony?
A: Since it's at city hall, street parking might be limited. We recommend checking for parking garages nearby beforehand.
Q: Is there parking available at the reception?
A: Luckily, parking won't be a worry at the reception! The restaurant has its own attached parking lot, so there's plenty of space for everyone.
Q: What can I do between the ceremony and reception?
A: The ceremony ends at 11 am, and the reception starts at 6 pm. This gives you some free time to relax and explore San Francisco! You could grab a delicious bite at one of the many restaurants near the ceremony location, or take in the sights of some iconic landmarks. If you prefer, find a quiet spot to unwind and chat with fellow guests. We can't wait to celebrate with you back at the reception at 6 pm!
Q: My question isn't answered here!
A: No worries! If something is unclear or you have another question, don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We're happy to answer anything and everything!
