Brian and Tita Edna randomly went to this Filipino store in Harlingen that is owned by their good friends, tita Beverly and tito Dennis from Weslaco.

There they met Tito Calo. Tita Edna then asked them to look for a girlfriend for Brian. Tita Beverly suddenly thought of me and said she’s been wanting me for Brian.

Right there and then Tito Calo called my dad if they can stop by our house so he can introduce Brian to me.

Tita Riza gave Brian my phone number (without even asking me lol) and told him to text me that night. This is Brian’s very first text message.

Siri was already encouraging me to set up a dinner with him. Lol. But I wanted to test his patience and if he’s gonna be consistent.

Our 1st ever meeting with Arr, as our 3rd wheel. He picked me up at work, stopped by our house so I can change then Arr wouldn’t let me go alone lol. He drove me to DPS Weslaco to apply for my student permit, drove to Tora in Brownsville for a boba run then had sushi and ramen afterwards.

When Brian picked me up at work, these 2 cuties were at the back of his car with a cooler full of Melona Ice Creams. How sweet and thoughtful. It was a nice date.

Our 1st Date alone, cause the titas of Harlingen told me to try it out just the 2 of us to know if we really have “sparks”. That same night, he confessed that he caught feelings when he first heard me sing Sundo by Imago.

On our way back to Harlingen, he suddenly held my hand and told me if he can ask me a question. Then he said “It seems like I am not the only one fascinated by you, my whole family too. I know it’s a little early to ask you this but I am already sure of you and how I feel about you. I want to commit myself to you and only you. Can you be my girlfriend?”. How could I say no to that? Lol. I asked if he is 100% sure. He said yes. Then of course I said yes.
