Tara and myself both had a busy year in 2015. We went through a professional change in our careers and put in long hours at the office getting up to speed so to speak. Well yada yada yada... we all work hard.... That being said, a weekend getaway to NYC was in order for some stress relief. The holidays and some pampering provided the cover for our quick getaway weekend trip and my secret proposal.We decided to stay on the jersey side of the river at the W hotel, which coincidentally a few years ago, was were we first reconnected in the lounge before we went out to dinner on our first date.To make a long story short, and semi-private... After our lunch date next to the ice at Rockefeller center and taking in the NYC sites, we headed back to the W Hoboken to get ready for dinner. Before we left the hotel, we stopped in the lounge to sit our our first date table and I asked Tara in the exact same spot of our first kiss, if she would do me the honor of making our first kiss...my last first kiss...and be my wife.After she caught her breath she managed to squeak out a YES! Naturally, she wanted to call her mom a few minutes after the "yes." little did she know that on Thanksgiving I had asked her mom and dad for their blessing. To add to Tara's engagement surprise, I had her parents, my father, brother and his girlfriend waiting at the dinner table to join in on our engagement night dinner overlooking the NYC skyline. The food was the best... the best fish I've ever tasted...and I/we were so excited, 4 bites was all that we could get down... too excited to eat! That's a first.An amazing night of excitement and happiness, one I'll never forget.Brian

We wanted to let you know early since the wedding date falls on the Saturday night of Easter weekend, please consider as you RSVP. Also don't forget to plan ahead and reserve your overnight accommodations and/or arrange designated drivers car service! Valet your car directly at Oyster Point Hotel. If the weather is nice for our cermony to be outsdoors we will have a trolley service to transport you.

I'm honored to have my 2 younger brothers as my best men. These two mean the world to me.  To have them by my side on the biggest day of my life is absolutely priceless. I was 10 years old when we moved to the Philippines in 1985. When I saw my older brother David in the hospital, I knew it was just a matter of paperwork before he would be a part of our family and my first little brother.  Yes, I  hate to admit it but I changed his cloth diapers and if you've ever changed cloth diapers you'll appreciate that more!  David is growing into a great man and setting  career goals, with a great girlfriend by his side, I'm  proud to be his big brother.Jason, I often referred to as my first sales pitch. My sister  Beth and me had to lobby hard to mom and dad (obviously expanding the family  to 4 kids is a big responsibility)  Well it didn't take but a few visits to the orphanage and they were an easy sell.  Jason has started a family of his own and built a beautiful foundation for his family out in PA.  Jason is great husband, father and I love and admire how he follows the Lord and lives the life he lives, he amazes me, I hope every day to be more like him.

I'm so honored to have my only sibling, my sister Jenni, as my Matron of Honor.  Jenni has been a wonderful role model and friend to me throughout my life, and has always been there for me in good times and bad.  We have made many great memories and I can't wait to have her by my side at the biggest milestone of my life!  Jenni's husband Mike is like a brother to me, and their children Ryan and Gianna are the most amazing niece and nephew.  Gianna (my god daughter) will be a flower girl, and Ryan will be a ring bearer at the ceremony.  I'm so happy to have them as a part of the wedding.

Ray and I became close 10 plus years ago when he he was newly single and needed a mentor. He reached out for my insights and now look at him happy in a long term relationship... maybe he's next???  Ray and I have really bonded  over the years.  He's been a great friend and always willing to give me advice on how to save money and never pay full retail price.  Although we tease continuously, (and no one is more sarcastic than Raymond) his penny pinching ways have taught me the invaluable lessons of budget and living within your means.  Kidding aside, Ray has been a great role model. (for the most part)

I am so grateful to have my cousin Krista in my bridal party.  Krista has been much more like a sister, than a cousin to me growing up. As well as being my kindred spirit, Krista makes me laugh like no other and I cherish all of my time with her.  It's moments like these that make me appreciate our relationship so much.  Cannot wait to have you as a part of my big day.  Krista's husband Matt and their beautiful children, Taylor and Roman, will be there for our big day as well.  Taylor will be a flower girl and Roman will be a ring bearer.  Looking forward to seeing those photos

Rick has been one of my long standing friends going on 10 years or so.  Rick has always been a great friend who is always willing to lend a hand, give advice, or get take control of the situation aka"the captain." All kidding aside, Rick is a guy that you can count on if you were ever in a pinch, broken down or running out of gas on the bay, Rick always will be there to  help his friends. Those types of people are rare these days, and I'm thankful Rick is a lifelong friend of mine.

My cousin Sabrina has always been like the little sister I never had, but always wanted.  She and her brother Bronson are both very important people in my life and go out of their way to make plans and stick to them.  Sabrina and I always have the best girls weekends.  Whether it's sitting in and watching movies, going to the beach, or going out on the town, we always know how to have the best time.  I'm so happy she said yes when I asked her to be in the bridal party and feel blessed to have her be a part of this special day!

Kate was my first roommate out of college and my last roommate before moving in with Brian.  We lived together in Hoboken for a total of  7 years, that is longest that I have ever lived with anyone in my entire life, other than my mother.  In the course of that time we have gone through career changes, break-ups, breakdowns, milestones, holidays, roommate changes; the list goes on.  Through it all Kate and I remained "thick as thieves", we always looked out for each other and never turned our backs on one another.Kate and I can go months without speaking and pick up right where we left off.  To me, that is a true friend, and I'm so honored to have Kate by my side on the most amazing day of my life...... another one added to our list!

Tom has a saying, when you see a "troubled" youth... blame the parents.  Well, I have to say that  Tom has two of the best children any parent could ask for,  therefore I blame their parents Jeannie and Tom, two of the most awesome fun people you will ever meet.  Although Tom is also professional mentor to me, I  look up to him as a husband and admire the fact that he has the type relationship with his children, that I hope to one day have with mine.  Thanks for showing me the way Tom.  Buckle Up! It's gonna be a great ride!

Ashley and I have been friends for almost 15 years. We met at Monmouth University and were inseparable throughout our college years.   We have been through it all together and always know how to put eachother in good spirits no matter what the circumstance.  Wether Im in need of a fashion consultant, side kick, directions, or some common sense, I always know Ashley will give me the guidance that I need.  She's my sounding board and my confidant.  I have no idea what I would've done without her all of these years, but I'm looking forward to a lifelong friendship and cannot wait to have you a part of my special day! Thank you for saying yes!

Tony is my life long friend from South Belmar NJ .  Although Tony is older than me (much) ever since I was a little kid Tony was always around the family and an overall cool dude.  As I got older in my 20's and 30's he became my buddy, my  neighbor, my trainer and life mentor when I needed solid advice.  Tony leads by example,I have him to thank for the perspective over the many years. Tony is  a loyal friend and better person.  Friends for life!

Ed has quickly become one of my great friends in the circle of trust over the past few years.  Although it pains me to admit it, but I do consider Ed  like the big brother to me and the type of friend that is extremely loyal and will always be there for you when it counts.  Ed is a great father and leader, I'm proud to call him one of my great friends in my small circle.

Allie and I met other first day of school at Monmouth University, and it was one of the best things that's ever happened to me. We had such an blast and made so many memories. Coming into adulthood, Allie has grown to be one of my closest friends. She is loyal, non- judgmental, spiritual, brave, and so many other wonderful things. A woman of her word and my soul sister..... I am blessed and honored to have this woman in my life, and in my wedding.

Megan is Brian's brother David's girlfriend.  From the moment we met, we became fast friends.  We immediately understood eachother's sense of humor and jokes, and have so much fun every time we are together. As I consider her family, I'm so grateful that this special day will have Megan as a part of it.  Megan and David are both so important to us and we appreciate both of them for playing an active role in our lives and our wedding!

The wedding party and family will be staying at the OysterPoint (wedding/reception location). Everyone of course is welcome to stay here or at any hotel of their choice. We have a block of discounted rooms reserved for family and wedding guests, especially with so many traveling from out of town. *You will need to call the hotel when you're ready to reserve a room. In addition to the Oyster Point, a few doors down (walking distance .25 mile) is The Molly Pitcher Inn.MPI is the sister hotel of our wedding venue and another beautiful hotel option. If you would like to stay nearby, we're sure the valet can arrange to 2 minute shuttle for wedding guests at the end of the night, if the weather isn't perfect for walking. Anything is possible for a decent tip!*Please don't drink and drive, we want everyone to have a great time and celebrate!
