Against all odds in 2021, we met the old fashioned way: through friends at a bar.

Casey's close friend Cami was dating Brian's close friend Nick, and we'd been introduced briefly in passing but never really met.

Brian was out with Nick & Cami at Christie's Sports Bar in Dallas on a football Saturday when Casey decided to go meet Cami out. The plot twist: Casey was fresh off a break up.

Despite the fact that Casey was not looking to meet anyone, our chemistry was hard to ignore. We slow played it for a bit, but she couldn't deny that we were an awesome match.

About a month after we met, Brian realized he needed one more trip to hit Southwest A-List for 2022, promptly added Casey as his Southwest Companion, and we hopped on a plane for a 24-hour trip to Chicago where we ran around the city, froze our butts off, took a river boat architecture tour, and had the best crab cake of our lives at RPM seafood. Casey also introduced Brian to Portillo's for the first time!

We were pretty much inseparable from there on out.

A few key moments we can't forget to mention:

1. Brian accidentally saying I love you on New Years (a couple months into dating!!) after a couple too many drinks, and Casey having to break that news to him the next day

2. Actually saying I love you for the first time at the Houston Rodeo, and both saying it in the same moment where it was basically jinx!

3. Many trips in our matching tie-dye Buc-ee's shirts!

4. Moving into our first home together in February 2023 with Kodi and Sophie!
