Indiana Guests will arrive in Mackinaw City, Michigan on Friday May 19th. You will be staying at the Super 8 Bridge View located at 601 N Huron Ave, Mackinaw City, MI 49701. We have a room reserved for you under Brian Whitmire.

Saturday morning you will have to go to Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry dock located at 556 E. Central Ave, Mackinaw City, MI. You will purchase ferry tickets and pay for overnight parking, if you are staying overnight on the island. Next, park your car in the day lot (if you’re not staying overnight) or in the overnight lot (if staying overnight on the island). Take the Free shuttle bus back to the dock and meet up with the group. Please allow approx. 1 hour to complete your parking to ensure all wedding guests are on the 11:30a.m. Ferry to the island.

Michigan Guests will arrive Saturday morning in Mackinac City. Remember to park in the day lot off 311 S. Nicolet St. Exit 338 from I-75 North. A free shuttle bus will take you to the dock where you will purchase your ferry ticket and meet up with the group. Please allow approx. 1 hour to complete your parking to ensure all wedding guests are on the 11:30am ferry to the island.

All wedding guests will meet at Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry docks with purchase tickets and be ready to board the 11:30am ferry to the island.

Upon arrival to Mackinac Island, approximately 11:50am., all of us will board a horse-drawn taxi that will take all of us to the ceremony site across from 7822 Lake Shore Dr.

After the ceremony, we will have a leisurely walk towards town, stopping along the way to take pictures at various spots. This walk will eventually lead us to the Yankee Rebel Tavern for a 3:30pm reservation for cocktails and dinner until 5:30pm. After dinner we encourage all mingle.

Ferries back to Mackinaw City leave the Island every hour; 6:00p.m., 7:00p.m. and the last boat to Mackinaw City is 8:00p.m.
