We met in 2012 when I was a waitress at Waffle House, Dan and one of his friends came in right before my shift ended. As Dan tells it, I kept giving him looks and was flirting with him but really I just wanted them to hurry up so I could go home. Dan came up to the register to pay and asked me to go out with him sometime but his phone was dead so I wrote my number down on a napkin and gave it to him.

After about a month or two of texting I finally went over to his house to hangout with him and we instantly became bestfriends, a couple weeks later we began dating. I moved in with him a few months later and in 2013 I gave birth to our son Gabriel. Unfortunately In late 2017 the stress of being young with all these responsibilities really took a toll on our relationship and we eventually agreed to take a break and move into separate houses.

During this break we remained bestfriends and started to really understand eachother better, it actually made us so much closer. In 2019 we officially got back together and it was the best decision we ever made. In January 2020 Dan proposed (again), with the help of Gabe. Of course I said yes! Now we are patiently waiting for our wedding day to arrive and can’t wait to share it with all of you.
