Briana &amp; Cyrus’ love story began in the spring of 2013 on the campus of Texas Southern University. Two Tigers crossing paths, sharing one date, then going their separate ways… but destiny had other plans.Fast-forward five years to 2018: a mutual friend’s birthday dinner. The moment Cyrus found out Briana would be there, he made a silent vow " this time, she’s not slipping away." They reconnected, and just like that, God’s timing showed off.From the jump, they shared a commitment to intentional love and a deep foundation in faith. Cyrus fell for Briana’s laugh, her smile, and the way her humor still gives him butterflies. Briana fell in love with how Cyrus challenged her in the best ways, encouraged their intellectual debates, and made space for her to show up as her full, authentic self.On May 5, 2019 over tacos and margaritas they exchanged their first “I love you.” From that moment on, tacos, tequila, and trips to Mexico became tradition… and so did choosing each other, every day.Since then, they’ve shared adventures, faith-filled growth, endless laughter, and the kind of love that keeps leveling up.
