Briana and Eric met on OkCupid in October 2013. Briana's profile included an absurd number of "Parks and Recrecation" jokes. Eric's profile had some really weird photos from summer camp. They hit it off admirably.

A few days after meeting online, Briana and Eric ran into each other at a Shabbat service in DC. Their friend Abby shouted beshert (Yiddish for "destiny") across the auditorium, and Briana probably threw a challah at her.

In July 2015, they moved in together. Eric taught Briana how to load the dishwasher properly. Briana gifted Eric a Death Star-shaped waffle iron. They still have one box left to unpack.

In April 2017, Eric popped the question in Harpers Ferry National Park. It was very thoughtful and romantic and he did a great job of keeping it a surprise. Briana cried...really loudly. People probably thought she was being attacked by a bear, rather than getting engaged.

Fast forward to 2018, and these two nerds are getting married.
