Hampton Inn & Suites Madison / Downtown
This hotel is located right off of State Street in the heart of campus, only a 1/2 mile walk to the wedding venue. The room rate is $179 + tax/night, and the rooms have either 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. If you would like a room in this hotel you will need to book by July 9th, 2019. Parking is $15/night, and limited to 1 car per room.
Memorial Union Terrace
Both the ceremony and reception will be held in the Tripp Commons room of Memorial Union. The room is located on the 2nd floor of the building, and there are plenty of maps and directions on the walls if needed. There are both stairs and elevators to get to the 2nd floor.
There are several transportation options for the day:
- If you choose to stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown you are only a little over half a mile away from the Memorial Union. If you are able to, we think walking would be the quickest and easiest way to get there.
- No matter where you stay, if you don't wish to walk or drive yourself, we suggest calling an Uber or Lyft, or using Union Cab. Union Cab is a local company, easy to use, and even allows you to arrange a cab far in advance.
- Driving. If you do choose to drive, we would suggest looking at either the Helen C. White Garage or the State Street Campus Garage.

This hotel is located on the west side of Madison, an easy 20 minute drive or cab/Uber ride to the venue. The room rate is $139 + tax/night, and the rooms have either 1 king bed or 2 double beds. If you would like a room in this hotel you will need to book by July 10th, 2019. You can book rooms by calling and asking for a reservation in the Morganroth/Suehring block of rooms. Parking is free!
