WHAT’S THE WEATHER LIKE IN APRIL?
Expect warm, sunny weather with temps around 80°F, perfect for a Mexico wedding!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?
Formal attire is requested!
The venue and resort embrace an earthy beach vibe…think soft neutral tones: champagne, taupes, muted greens, warm sands, light breezy blues, etc.
For the ladies, dresses or formal jumpsuits in comfortable, breathable fabrics will be great!
For the gentlemen, lightweight suits or dress pants with a button-down and blazer could be a great option.
DO I NEED TO BRING CASH TO MEXICO?
While most places accept credit and debit cards, it’s a good idea to bring some cash (small USD bills) for tips, taxis, and small vendors.
CAN I TIP IN U.S. DOLLARS, OR DO I NEED MEXICAN PESOS?
U.S. dollars are widely accepted for tipping. If tipping in USD, use small bills ($1s and $5s) as change may not be available.

The upgrade is about $130 per room, per night and includes:
• Early check-in (when available)
• Premium snacks and liquor selection in your room
• A complimentary massage treatment
• Access to exclusive pool and beach areas
• Priority restaurant reservations
• Discounts on spa services, Bali beds, wine, romantic beach dinners, and floating breakfasts

Floating Breakfast
The resort offers a floating breakfast experience for guests staying in swim-up suites. Breakfast is served on a floating tray in your private pool between 8:00–11:00 AM. Pricing is approximately $142 USD without champagne or $246 USD with Moët champagne. Reservations can be made through the concierge during your stay.
Chic Cabaret Show
Chic Cabaret is a dinner and live entertainment show at the resort. Guests can reserve tickets for an evening of performances, dinner, and drinks. Entry is about $58 USD per person, with optional upgraded tables such as Blue Zone (~$199 + entry fee) or VIP tables (~$411 + entry fee) that include bottle service.
The hotel may explain these options during check-in, but there is no need to purchase it unless it’s something you’d enjoy. You will still have access to all the normal resort amenities as part of your stay.
Just wanted everyone to be aware in case it comes up during arrival!
A little insider tip we learned from other TRS guests: many people recommend not booking spa services in advance. The attendants who walk around the pools often offer spa appointments at up to 50% off, so if you’re flexible with timing, you may be able to snag a great deal while you’re relaxing by the pool!
What should I download before arriving?
Download the Grand Palladium app (menus, room service, daily activities) and WhatsApp (your butler will use this to communicate with you).
Also, join our wedding group chat (https://chat.whatsapp.com/ImqCKuzvbiDDmLGVhFKC54) that we will use for all communication during the weekend!
IS IT SAFE TO DRINK THE WATER IN MEXICO?
Only drink bottled water while in Mexico! The resort provides bottled water that is included in the all-inclusive package so you will not run low! To avoid any issues, stick to bottled beverages and avoid tap water, even for brushing your teeth.
ARE THERE WATER SPORTS OR EXCURSIONS AVAILABLE?
Yes! The resort offers activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and scuba diving, along with nearby excursions (some may have additional costs).
Playa Mujeres Golf Club is also located approximately 0.5 miles from TRS Coral Hotel, making it easily accessible. The 18-hole, Greg Norman-designed course is renowned for its challenging, well-groomed, and scenic layout.
CAN WE PLAN OTHER ACTIVITES WITH FRIENDS/FAMILY IF WE WANT TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY?
Absolutely! We truly want this to feel like a vacation for you!
SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES?
Yes! Bug spray for mosquitoes is essential, especially for evening events. If you plan to go on excursions, pack comfortable walking shoes, motion sickness meds (for boat trips), and a tumbler to stay hydrated (or use for resort cocktails at the pool!)
IS THE WEDDING ADULTS-ONLY?
TRS Coral is an adults-only resort. While we LOVE all your kiddos, we can't wait for you all to have a vacation for yourselves!
WILL MY CELL PHONE WORK IN COSTA MUJERES?
Most major U.S. and Canadian carriers (like AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile) offer international plans that include Mexico. Check with your provider to see if your plan includes free or low-cost roaming. While you're at the resort you will be on Wifi.
