So let's face it .. Ryan first eyed me back in middle school when he asked me to accompany him at the Townsend Band Concert to what he originally thought was as a date . However when I showed up with my group of friends rather than meeting him alone that night, his thought quickly changed. :)
Throughout our years of middle school , high school and even college , we some how kept bumping into each other . There was always some sort of flame there that sparked each time we locked eyes from across the room wherever it was we were.
It wasn't until after college that a good mutual friend of ours hosted a Cinco De Mayo party back in 2015 that I saw Ryan there hanging outside, telling jokes drinking beer , being the center of attention as always. Again I couldn't resist, I joined the crowd he was entertaining and literally followed him the entire night! We laughed , drank, caught up. When the hoorah died down Ryan offered to drive me home.. and then well, you can guess what happened next. Since this day we have not been able to leave eachothers side. We shortly announced our exclusive relationship. We got a dog, moved in together , met families, it has been perfect.
In October of 2016 I made reservations in the North End for Ryan's 28th birthday . But low and behold he surprised me that night with a horse and buggy ride around Boston . It was at the Public Garden on his birthday that he proposed to me obviously giving himself the best gift in the world !!!! ME !! :) .. just kidding lol . He gave me the biggest gift in the world that night .. A simple question asking to be his wife and of course I said yes . I am so excited to be marrying my best friend , and for those of you who have known me a long time, we all assumed this day would never come. I am the most lucky girl in the world because there is no one else like him, and to be given him for the rest of our lives is the biggest gift ever.
