Our Wedding

Our paths first crossed at our church's college group in the summer of 2021. Though Bri thought Josiah was cute, and Josiah thought the same of Bri, life had them in separate directions so the two remained distant acquaintances for 2 years. (Although later, they would learn of the secret crush they both had on each other for quite some time). During those two years, they each grew—both in faith and as individuals. Then in the beginning of 2023, Bri and Josiah found themselves becoming increasingly closer, as they both shared the same mutual friend group. Their connection grew deeper and it became so evident to each other and those around them that Bri and Josiah's feelings towards one another was undeniable. Finally, Josiah had finally gained the courage to ask bri on a date on Easter of 2023. (best first date ever)!! After that date, bri called her parents almost immediately after, convinced that josiah was going to be her husband. Our relationship grew with every conversation we have had, with every intentional date we have planned for one another, and in every life high and low that came our way individually and as a couple We stress this to each other almost every day, but there is nothing like having your life partner not only be your bestest friend in the whole world, but also be the absolute best teammate you could need, want, and ask for. In January of 2025, Josiah planned the best "birthday" trip ever to Utah (one of Bri's favorite places) where he celebrated her and showered her with love and then asked her to be his wife just 2 days later on 1/4/2025. He even flew our families out to witness and celebrate with us :,) We are beside ourselves excited to say "I do" in November 2025 and spend the rest of our lives together as husband and wife!!!

If you are coming from out of town or far enough to want to stay in the area after the wedding and/or reception, I have put together some lovely places in Murrieta &amp; Temecula to relax and recharge.

The Hampton Inn is about a 20 minute drive from the wedding venue.

Hampton Inn & Suites Temecula

Hotel is a 22 minute drive to the wedding venue. In close proximity to Old Town Temecula, Old Town Murrieta, and the 15 free way.

Murrieta Hot Springs

The Temecula Creek Inn is a 15 minute drive, just outside the acres of the wedding venue.

Coffee is such a staple in our relationship. If we had a bad day, a good day, wanted something to do, wanted something to talk about, needed to have a heavy talk, or a light hearted talk, anything and everything, we always did it over coffee. So here are some of our favorite coffee places in Temecula, in case you need a pick me up!!

We LOVE coffee, as everyone here should know. This place has delicious specialty coffee drinks and pastries. My order for all coffee shops is an ice or hot almond milk latte and I can confidently say, it is perfection here. Josiah's favorite drink here is their Brown sugar caramel latte with oat milk!

THE PRESS ESPRESSO

This coffee shop is so sweet to us and was recommended by our beloved Ritchie family. They have great coffee here and interestingly different and delicious breakfast foods. Bri's coffee order - Iced oat latte Josiah's coffee order - Iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk

Montague Brothers Coffee

MMMM this place just hits different. During the summers going to our friends' houses, our friends and us would come here and try not to order everything off the menu. They have great coffee and in my opinion better food. if you're looking for a good matcha, this place is especially the place to go!! I think they do the best in their matcha.
