In the Spring of 2018, we met at work. After 6 months of crushing on each other, the perfect moment hit when Brian left his chicken salad sandwich on his desk one Friday when he left work. In a panic that his chicken sandwich would spoil over the weekend, he began reaching out to many co-workers to see if anyone was still at work and could move the sandwich into the fridge. Even though Briana could not be the hero in this story, the texting conversation that started that afternoon did not end to this day. By the end of that evening, they already had plans for her to attend a family wedding in two weeks.

For the next 3 years, Briana and Brian dated, but also lived their lives in parallel. When they had time to be together they enjoyed every minute, but additionally they concentrated on their own families and building careers.

Summer of 2021 everything changed as they started to plan for the coming of Kyland. Through that process, the way they approached life and each other changed. They quickly became each other's partners through the difficulties in life.

In February of 2022, they welcomed Kyland into the world and started their adventure of parenthood. It became clear very quickly how much they needed each other and wanted to be in each other's lives forever.

In December of 2022, on a trip to Hawaii, Brian asked Briana to spend the rest of her life with him to which she excitedly said yes.

On July 13, 2024, Briana and Brian will publicly say "I Do" with those that we hold dear as a witness.
