What time does the it start?
-The ceremony begins at 5:30 PM. We recommend arriving a few minutes early so everyone can be seated before it begins.
What should I wear?
- We’re asking guests to wear formal, all-black attire. You can find a visual guide and more details on the “What to Wear” tab.
Are kids invited?
- While we love your families, this will be an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation join us for the evening. Thank you for understanding and making arrangements for the kids!
Can I bring a plus one?
- As much as we’d love to include everyone, we’re only able to accommodate only those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding as we celebrate with our closest family and friends.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
- The ceremony will take place outdoors, with the reception to follow under a tent at the same venue. Cocktail hour will also be hosted onsite, with access to both indoor and outdoor areas throughout the evening.

Will transportation be provided, or is there parking at the venue?
- Transportation will not be provided, and parking is very limited. We highly encourage guests to use Uber, Lyft, or another ride share service if possible. We’re also hoping to share a discount code soon and will update this page if one becomes available.
Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility needs?
- Yes — Lowndes Grove is accessible for guests with mobility concerns. The ceremony and reception areas don’t require stairs or long walks, and ramps are available for restroom access. If you or someone in your party has any questions or specific needs, we’re happy to help!
Where should I stay?
- We don’t have room blocks, but we’ve shared a list of recommended hotels and places nearby on the “Travel” tab. Charleston fills up quickly, so we suggest booking early!
Can guests take photos during the ceremony?
- To help keep the focus on the moment, we ask that phones and cameras stay put away during the ceremony. We’ll have a professional photographer and team capturing every special moment that we can’t wait to share with you afterwards. Your presence means the most to us.
