Brianna and Danny met in the most unlikely of places: the very end of the Cape Cod peninsula, practically in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, where dating apps show an error and Bank of America isn't really sure if it's a real address. They had serendipitously washed ashore at the same time, both looking for a different life path. Here they first caught sight of each other during a neighborhood fall cleanup, as each lived only a few houses away. It was 8 a.m. on a slightly crisp October Saturday morning and neither was thrilled to be picking up brush during such an ungodly hour. When the work was complete, Brianna went home but Danny lingered, hoping the girl down the street would join the neighborhood crew for barn drinks. Over the next few weeks, Danny started taking jogs around the neighborhood circle, hoping to run into Brianna. It wasn't until December that he heard she would be attending a New Year's Eve party at a neighbor's, so Danny convinced his mom to go with him as impromptu wingman. As luck would have it, Danny and Brianna were the only two who didn't remember what life was like before online shopping, so they were seated together for the entirety of the evening, thus beginning their friendship. Eventually Brianna noticed Danny was pretty handy around the house, and he could start a fire on the beach with just some sticks and dry grass. And he was so easy to talk to with the nicest blue eyes. It wasn't until April after one dropped chicken fiasco and a long getting-to-know-you process with the dog that they finally became a couple, and a little over a year later, engaged!
