Our Wedding

Hey guys! I am so excited to be a bride and a wife!!! I was born and raised in Oak Ridge, Tennessee by my two amazing parents Edward and Jennifer Dunbar. I have one older brother named Jordan and a little sister named Nova (she's a dog haha). I am a mother to my snake Sylvester and our doggie ring bearer Jet! As many of you probably already know, I have played basketball my whole life, which ultimately led Brandon and I to one another. I enjoy listening to music, being outdoors, playing with animals, and lifting weights. I am pretty introverted until you get to know me, but love to have fun once I am comfortable. I have always dreamed of my wedding since I was a little girl and cannot wait to see all of you there to celebrate our special day! -Bri &lt;3

Brianna Dunbar

Hello everyone! I could not be more thrilled to be sharing this day with some of my favorite people! I was born and raised in McLeansville/Greensboro, NC as an only child to my parents CC and Brigitte Lamberth. Growing up my parents set the example of what strong marriage should be; a covenant based on a foundation of faith, trust, communication, and love. Growing up my first true passion was basketball. The game took me and my parents all across the country teaching me life lessons in sacrifice, determination, and the importance of self-belief. With my playing career now behind me, my new passions are my career, my dog Jet, and beginning a wonderful life with Bri. I am most looking forward to the upcoming wedding not only because I will be marrying my best friend, but we get to celebrate our story with the friends and family who have played such huge roles in both of our lives. Brandon Lamberth

We first met in college at King University where we both played basketball. We began our friendship after meeting through mutual friends and corresponding schedules. From our very first conversation, we have been best friends and loved being around one another. We quickly realized how similar we were through our love for chocolate, our sarcastic sense of humor, and love for our families and friends. After about two years of friendship, our undeniable chemistry led us to becoming a couple. Ever since then, we have been together through every trial of life. Since then, we have traveled to Vegas, retired from basketball, became dog parents, obtained college degrees, attended March Madness games, grew to be avid House of the Dragon lovers, and created a beautiful life together that will continue to grow. We have known for a very long time that one day we would get married, and we are so excited to officially commit to forevermore with all of you! We absolutely cannot wait to share our love surrounded by the overwhelming love of you all. Here's to the celebration of our love and officially becoming the Lamberths!

Jalen is from Springdale, MD. Jalen and Brandon have been best friends since STEM Camp in 2013.

Jordan is the older brother of Bri and her built in protector and ride-or-die.

Nick is from Greensboro NC. Nick is Brandon's older cousin who has always been someone Brandon has looked up to as a big brother.

Selena was born and raised in Oak Ridge, TN. Selena and Bri have been best friends since the 5th grade.

Selena Pettus 

Mike is from Greensboro, NC. Mike and Brandon became friends through being both rivals and teammates on the basketball court. 

Mike Featherston 

Chelsea was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. Chelsea is Brandon's cousin but is more like a sister to him. 

Chelsea Pettiford

Chad is from Flemington, NJ. Chad and Brandon met in college where  they started as teammates and soon became best friends.

Madee was born and raised in Dandridge, TN. Madee and Bri have been long time basketball competitors until they became teammates and roommates in college.

Jaylen is from Greensboro, NC. Jaylen and Brandon have been best friends since  "before" diapers!

Kim is from Oak Ridge, TN. Kim is Bri's Aunt who she has always looked up to and loves to go on adventures with.

David is from Newport News, VA. Brandon and David are life long bestfriends, having grown up alongside each other from pampers to adulthood!

Kam is from Greensboro, NC. Brandon and Kameron grew up playing basketball together and won a high school State Championship together in 2017.

Wedding Party

Brandon and I have thought long and hard about what we want our wedding to look like and would love for our guests to help our vision come to life. We really love the idea of a very clean and uniform look! We ask that our guests wear all black attire. Here you can find outfit examples that we have included for both men and women. If there are any questions about dress code please do not hesitate to reach out!

Dress Code

Appalachian View is the the midst of the Blue Ridge mountains with a breathtaking view. It is located in Newland, NC which is almost equal distance from our hometowns. It was very important for us to keep in mind the travel times for our guests when picking a venue. We fell in love with the "at-home" feel of this venue and know we will be able to have intimate and beautiful wedding here. We cannot wait to share this space with everyone during this celebration of love and commitment to one another.

The Venue

We have arranged room blocks for our guests at the following hotels! Guests are encouraged to book with one of these as some have them have even been discounted just for our wedding!!! If you are planning to book with one of these hotels, the deadline is JULY 1, 2025!   If none of these fit your style, guest can also look into booking an Airbnb for the weekend! Since the venue is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, there are many beautiful options!
