We kindly request that guests dress in black-tie-optional attire. Men are welcome to wear suits or tuxedos, and ladies are invited to wear long dresses. Please note that our ceremony and reception will take place in a garden, not on the beach, so shoes will be required.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
All events will be held outside as weather permits.
What items do I need for Mexico?
1. Passport! Remember to check expiration dates.
2. ID/Driver's License: Use your ID/Driver's License to book activities.
3. Cash/Small Bills: Make sure to bring your small bills to tip your bartenders, servers, drivers, etc.
4. Attire for events during the weekend. Friday - Cocktail Attire, Saturday - White Dressy Casual - white linens, white sun dresses, white polos, etc., Sunday - Black-tie optional Attire.
5. Optional: If you are a beach person and want to get in the water - We highly recommend buying inexpensive swim/water shoes. We have heard that the entry into the water on the beach has lots of sharp rocks/shells.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please submit all RSVPs by May 8th to help us get an accurate headcount. If you plan to attend but won’t know for sure until later, feel free to reach out to Bri or Jaxon directly!
How do I book my room?
You can book your stay directly through the Dreams or Secrets website. Just be sure to select the Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort location.
Do I have to stay at Dreams Bahia Mita?
All events will be held at Dreams or Secrets Bahia Mita, so guests must stay at one of these resorts. Transportation from other hotels may be challenging. The resort is divided into two sections: a family-friendly side (Dreams) and an adults-only side (Secrets). You’re welcome to stay on either side of your choice! If you’re staying on the Dreams side, you can also purchase passes to access the Secrets side during your stay.
How many days should I stay?
We warmly invite everyone to join us for the weekend’s wedding events!
Feel free to attend any activities that fit your schedule. On Friday, June 6th, we’ll be hosting a rehearsal dinner, and all are welcome to join us if you're able to! The dress code is cocktail attire.
On Saturday, June 7th, we’ll also have a welcome party, with a dress code of white dressy casual attire.
Finally, the wedding day is Sunday, June 8th, and the attire is black-tie optional.
