Our Wedding

Garrett and Brianna went to high school together but they connected a little over a year later in 2016 while he was living in Pennsylvania attending a technical school and she was living in New Jersey going to college. They were only about an hour apart at the time and they hit it off quickly. They have been through many highs and lows together over the years, but they have ridden the waves as they came along. In November of 2020, they bought their first home together and have been growing their small farm ever since. They are looking forward to starting their next chapter in October and can't wait to celebrate with family and friends!

There is another wedding occurring the same weekend locally so we recommend reserving your room as early as possible as it will book up quickly!

﻿Besides all of the museums, restaurants, and numerous activities in Washington, D.C. to explore, below is a list of some local restaurants, parks, and wineries for you to enjoy!

There are always activities going on down at the Wharf and it's a great place to walk around by the water!

Leonardtown Wharf Park

This is a beautiful park with beaches to walk along and lots of trails to explore. Garrett and Brianna love taking their dog here to go swimming in the summer!

Newtowne Neck State Park

If you are up for a bit of a drive deeper into the county, this historical park is a great place to visit for it's scenery and history. Point Lookout Lighthouse is located at the southern tip of the park. The point's rich Civil War history is found at Fort Lincoln and at the Point Lookout Civil War Museum. The museum is open on Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM - 5 PM.

Point Lookout State Park

Thursday night International jumpers debut in the first of three nights of exciting jumping. They get underway with the Welcome Stake followed by a crowd favorite, the Accumulator Costume Class, where the top riders go wild with funny and surprising costumes for both horse and rider! Friday night at WIHS is Military Night! It’s all about power and speed as international riders are in the saddle for the Speed Final (look for the American flag Jump for TAPS!) and the International Jumper Puissance, where the brave will jump the great wall until only one horse and rider combination remains fault-free. The North American indoor record to beat is 7’ 7-1/2,” set at Washington in 1983.

This is a great place to eat with a fun atmosphere, but it does get busy so make sure you get there early!

This is a great place to eat for a bit of a quieter atmosphere.

Port of Leonardtown Winery

If you are up for a bit more of a drive, this winery has a Tuscan feel with an indoor and outdoor area with live music most weekends. If you decide to go, try their wine slushies!
