Her Side:
I always knew of Noah in high school, but being two-years older, I wasn't around him much, so I would say our official "how we met" moment was later at Country Jam 2014. I went to Country Jam with a couple girl-friends (bridesmaids- Miranda & Allison), and with mutual friends, we met up with Noah on Saturday. Luke Bryan was playing that night, and Noah decided to join us as we moved closer to the stage. He held my hand and stole my heart after a night of singing and dancing to country music. He didn't ask for my number that night, but don't worry he later reached out on Twitter ;) (or you can say he slid into my DMs). We made a long distance relationship work for the years after until we moved in together in Minneapolis September 2018. We have been best friends ever since :).
His Side:
Brianna was always within a fairly close proximity to me growing up. As a fellow Monroe Cheesemaker, we attended the same events, hung out with mutual friends, and even wished each other happy birthday on Facebook back in 2011. It wasn’t until the summer of 2014 that our paths were brought together at a country festival in the great city of Eau Claire. On the last day of the festival, Bri and I were dancing to Luke Bryan when I pulled her close and we had our first kiss. From that moment forward, I knew Bri and I were going to be something special. As they say, the rest is history!
It was a chilly November morning, the two of us and our great friends Ellen Arndt & Jon Becker left for a Saturday full of adventures. Little did Bri know, Noah had planned a big, BIG surprise for the day. Being the guy that he is, Noah knew that he wasn't going to be able to keep a secret for long. So, they started the day with a trip to Interstate State Park in St.Croix Falls, WI. Bri didn't think anything of the day, just that their good friends were visiting for the weekend. Ellen had brought her camera in hope to "practice" taking pictures for her upcoming vacation..again, Bri didn't think anything of it. The first hike Noah led them on, Bri was not thrilled with the view from the top, stating "this is it?". Noah knew this wasn't the moment. They ventured on another hike up to a picture perfect spot. Ellen suggested on taking a picture for them, and in this moment Noah proposed! The whole thing was a blur, but Bri was SO surprised. Luckily, Noah didn't drop the ring in any of the cracks on the rocks ;) and Bri said YES! They spent the rest of the day celebrating in the beautiful little city of Stillwater.
