Wedding Party

Courtney Williams - Maid of Honor
Courtney is the eldest sister of us five Lindgrens. We butt heads consistently growing up, arguing about stupid things pretty often, but growing up we have gotten so much closer. So close she is my Maid of Honor! One of my favorite memories of Courtney is when I asked her to be my Maid of Honor. She was so surprised and happy because I have a few very close girlfriends that were a high possibility. It was so sweet how excited she was and that we get to be each other's Maids of Honor.
Cody Walter - Best Man
Cody and Matthew met while working together in Rochester, MN. The sparks flew immediately and a friendship that will go down as “one of the greatest bromances ever” in the annals of history was started. They share a love purer than even J.D. and Turk’s. Top scientists have speculated that Matthew and Cody’s friendship is the one thing giving aliens hope for mankind and the main reason why said aliens haven’t destroyed us all. Cody’s mind is loved by Matthew.
Haley Lindgren - Bridesmaid
Another part of the Lindgren gang, Haley is the eldest of my younger twin sisters. Many of you may not know that Haley is a baker. One day visiting her in Kalispell, we laid in her bed watching The Office. She leaned over to her mini fridge and pulled out a large container of something and started snacking. She looked over at me and said "What? Did you want some Tiramisu?" I laughed out a no and then she said, "good because this is the last of it and I didn't want to share." Classic baker just to have a fancy dessert stocked in their bedside fridge!
Phillip Knowlen - Brother/Groomsman
Phillip is my brother and one of my dearest friends. I could sit here all night and recount the copious amount of reasons that I am thankful for this man. We’ve been through family drama, relationship woes, job changes, residence changes and anything else life could throw at us. We’ve learned how to overcome/embrace our silly behaviors and love just being there for each other sharing whiskey and shooting the shit. Phillip has an inimitable skill of sharing his love and making those around him feel and believe in it and that is something I’ve always tried to emulate. We have been through so much and I am beyond grateful for having such an excellent brother to grow side my side and navigate this world with.
Shelbey Lindgren - Bridesmaid
Shelbey is the final sister of the Lind-gang as I like to call it. She is the younger one of the twins. Shelbey has always been a laid-back lady that can roll out hilarious one liners. I have a core memory of forcing Shelbey into a haircut when we were younger. We had gotten some pretty cool bubble blowing guns and I was maybe 9 years old. I thought let's put bubbles in Shelbey's hair. What could go wrong? The rotating ends of the gun quickly caught her hair and twisted it into a massive knot. I felt very bad. It seemed a bit painful to detangle and that was not my intention.
Gabe de Sousa - Groomsman
Gabe and I met while working together at Red Robin. Friendship was quite easy with this good man. Eventually, Gabe needed a roommate and I fit the bill and we lived together for a couple years and he was quite simply “the best roommate not named Bri.” I will always remember fondly how much fun we had just being dudes. I once made the decision to bring home a starter pack of Magic the Gathering cards and Gabe came home on break and said “Are those Magic cards? Do you wanna play before I go back to work?” Those words sent us down a very expensive rabbit hole we never expected. We played Magic for HOURS a day for weeks. We spent literally thousands of dollars on cards just trying to one up each others decks. Those days are some of my favorite memories in life and they don’t even include all the anime we watched and all the video games we played or how we both bought par 3 memberships and golfed multiple times a week together. I mean I was there when Gabe hit his 1st hole-in-one. We got so giddy we couldn’t even focus to finish the round. But honestly, the best is simply how much fun we had together just being bros. I’ve always felt perfectly fine just hanging out and being myself with Gabe and that’s a special feeling. I can’t wait to find out about the “One Piece” with you.
Mikayla Pritchett - Matron of Honor
Mikayla and I are on 13 years of friendship! We bonded during high school basketball practice when partnering up for drills. Our friendship solidified after sharing nachos the night before a game. We were inseparable in high school and later became roommates in college. Mikayla is friend who will always answer the phone, will always be there when you need her, and is always down for whatever activity I am up to. One of my favorite things to do with Mikkie-ayla are escape rooms. We do one almost every time we visit each other! It was so special to speak at Mikayla's wedding as her MOH, I feel like I had a first-row seat to her and Robert's love story. I am thankful to have her helping me celebrate my love.
Cole Stanek - Groomsman
Cole and I have been friends a long time. Cole was my freshman back when I was a senior at Shepherd High School back in ‘07. He was my first true best friend. The first person that truly made me feel validated and important. We used to jam all the time and take walks after school and eat caramel hohos or whatever other lil Debbie snack we were feeling. As his senior, I felt responsible for him so I would buy him snacks all the time on band trips so the joke became that he was “My Son.” Which is a moniker he’s still known as in my phone today. Cole and I were in a band together after I graduated and had a real fun times playing some angsty punk with our dear friend Jess all over Billings. We played D&D together. He was there when I broke up with my first girlfriend. We got matching tattoos together. When I moved into Billings I told him it was cool to drop by whenever and one time he snuck in through the window, cooked himself some food, and then left $5 on the fridge with a note written on it to let me know. I saw it when I got home and found it absolutely hilarious especially since my roommate was like “How the hell did he get in?” The list goes on and on with this guy. I can’t imagine who I would’ve turned into without this guy in my life and couldn’t imagine getting married without him standing on my side with me. Much love “My Son.”
Kaycee Trombley - Bridesmaid
Kaycee and I have been friends for over 20 years now! We also got to be roomies in college. Kaycee and I have always been very similar often accidentally wearing similar outfits when hanging out. We have enjoyed it, so neither of us ever made the other change. In high school we switched pants midday because we each liked the others better. No matter how far we are apart or how busy life gets. I loved helping Kaycee pick out her wedding dress and standing next to her on her wedding day, I am thankful to have her by my side for this day!
Daniel Nickerson - Groomsman
Dan and I also met while working at Red Robin (aka the Dirty Bird). Dan and I had shared a lot of common interests and we did our best to spend as much time as possible with each other exploring those interests. We could probably still whip out a pretty solid acoustic cover of “Suit and Tie” if you give us a lil warning. We had whiskey and cigar nights with our other dear friends. We did karaoke. We watched WWE (Dan is obsessed with wrestling). I’m pretty sure the first time Dan beat me at pool is saved on a calendar somewhere or at the very least mentioned in his journal. Dan also has a bunch of Backstreet Boys figurines that are super cool (Dan, I know they are N’SYNC figurines but I like to drive you crazy). At one point in time, I actually kidnapped him. I mean it was for his bachelor party, and I wasn’t driving so when I was giving directions he knew exactly where we were going so he wasn’t worried at all but it still happened! He’s also one of the most talented stage actors I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Dan is goofy, fun, talented and just an outstanding man who anyone would be lucky to have in their corner. I was so honored to be one of his groomsman back in the day and am even more honored that he agreed to be one of mine.
Jacquelyn Riekena - Bridesmaid
Jacquelyn and I also went to high school together but became friends working at Subway. I will never forget her moving a cooler by herself so I could get my phone that slid underneath. Then onto Crapplebee's together (Applebee's) where we became very close. Jacquelyn has always made time for me. Driving from Missoula to help celebrate my 21st birthday or scheduling me in for breakfast or dinner whenever I am somewhere near her. No matter how much time has passed, we can always pick things right back up where we left off.
Devin Card - Groomsman
Another Dirty Bird Alumni, Devin and I have been through some things. We found each other at very interesting times in each other’s lives and thankfully we came out the other side quite a bit better thanks to each other. We have caroused. We have chatted through the night. We have played games of “Risk” that weaker friendships would’ve quite simply buckled under. I’ve also spider bombed his basement because this man is TERRIFIED of spiders. Thankfully, he’s married now so Daedra can take care any spiders that sneak into his toilet bowl or wherever (sorry Devin, look down before you sit down). We been with each other through our most fun times and our most traumatic. The one thing I’ve always loved about Devin is his ability to accept and to give discourse with love and without getting upset or being hurtful/vindictive. Devin and I have always spoke truths to each other when we’ve needed them. He is a man I’ve always been able to count on and am quite thankful I can count him one of my groomsmen.
Evie Harris - Junior Bridesmaid
Matthew's, now my, niece. Evie and Matthew have had a special bond since she was born. From jump parks to fireworks on the 4th of July, I have gotten to start playing Auntie. I am so happy to officially become an her Auntie Bri.
Elijah Lindgren - Junior Groomsman
Elijah is Bri’s younger brother and I met him quite early on in our relationship. I gave him a pack of Star Wars legos and we took that 9(at the time) year old to the fair. It’s been a blast watching him grow up. He plays a mean game of Catan and can take over a game a pool pretty quickly if you let him. This, now teenager, is growing into such a loving and respectful young man and I’m super excited to be his brother-in-law.
