Andrew and I met in high school. Most of you already know that but what some of you probably don’t know is I was the one interested in him! With help from my friend Malia we started texting. Of course he was doing field work and couldn’t talk. Me not being from a farming family told him to “just turn on auto steer”. I think I lost a point for that comment. A little later Andrew decided he didn’t want a girlfriend so we stopped talking. I got invited to national FFA convention on short notice. I was all excited to go sitting on the bus and here comes Andrew. I quickly realized he had no where else to sit but with me. That was a long drive with Mr. Not so talkative. So one night I made my move and asked him to hold something for me. He stuck out his hand and I placed mine in his. He looked at my hand and threw it out of his. Once we returned home we started talking again and he decided maybe a girlfriend wouldn’t be so bad. The rest is history. ❤️
