We recommend arriving on Wednesday August 19th or Thursday August 20th. Wedding activities will begin Thursday evening with the welcome dinner. The Black Stallion is booked from 8/19/26 - 8/24/26, we would love for you to stay as many nights as you can!

Our dress code is semi-formal! The Outer Banks in August will be hot, so we recommend light dresses (short or long), button down shirts with slacks. Suit jackets are not expected, you will be more comfortable without them!

It means the world to us that you will come and celebrate with us in our favorite place! Please do not feel inclined to give us a gift. For those that wish to give something more, we have created a small registry, including a fund for our honeymoon.

We are expecting 50-75 guests for our wedding. Since it is a destination wedding and The Black Stallion has limited to space, we have chosen to do a smaller, more intimate wedding.

The Black Stallion is comparable to a typical AirBnB home. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. Each room will have two bath towels, two hand towels and two washcloths. We suggest you bring your own toiletries, beach towels and sunscreen. There are laundry units on every floor accessible for use. Since it is a rental home, no one will be entering the home for cleaning or linen changes during our stay. Similar items are recommended if you stay in one of the nearby rental homes or inns.

If you are staying at The Black Stallion, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. We will provide bagels and sandwich fixings for lunch. If there is anything else you would like as well as any drinks you will want during your stay, please bring or get these upon your arrival. There is a Harris Teeter (grocery store) at the entrance of the neighborhood for your convenience. There are two refrigerators and two freezers in the shared kitchen for storage. There are a few restaurants and a smoothie shop next to the Harris Teeter, as well as a dozen restaurants ~5 minutes north of the home in Historic Corolla Village.
