Ben and Brianna met in August of 2023 at the Southeast Park Pickleball courts in Columbia. At the time, Brianna was still new to the area and desired to make friends. She had recently started her career and was in the thick of studying for licensing exams. Ben had also recently started his career after graduating from USC, and was rooming with one of his now groomsmen, Roderick.

One day at the local gym, Brianna recognized a guy that she had previously seen at the pickleball courts. In a spontaneous attempt to make a friend, she sparked a conversation with the guy, and he invited her to come play pickleball that weekend with him and his roommate. The guy was Roderick and his roommate was Ben. A few days later, Brianna met Ben met at the pickle ball courts.

From that day forward, Ben and Brianna spent almost everyday together. A little over a month after meeting, they made it official and started dating. They spent a lot of their time together outdoors, cooking together, trying new restaurants, and watching Marvel movies. They wasted no time meeting each other’s families. Ben and Brianna quickly fell in love and talked about their future together.

Ben proposed to Brianna at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens on February 22, 2025. They are looking forward to celebrating their marriage and the start of their life together with you this October.
