Back in 2010, bridesmaid Sarah "Skip" Rice invited Brie to go to her roommate's - boyfriends - roommate's 24th birthday party (who neither of them had ever met). As fate would have it, the birthday party was for Garrett! Brie and Garrett talked and really hit it off. After the party, Garrett and Brie started hanging out and finally made it "facebook official" on April 18, 2010 during a friends bar-golf themed birthday party (hence the outfits!).

On July 1st 2016, we went to Aunt Win's house in Marshfield, MA to celebrate the 4th of July weekend. Garrett asked Brie to go take a picture with him on the beach. We headed down to the sand and that's where it all happened!! Garrett got on one knee (with the entire family watching!!) and proposed :)
