We met as kids at Blessed Hope Baptist Church. It didn't matter when his family moved to Perry Lecompton we still kept in touch. We kept in touch after he moved on for the Military and I moved on for College and Teaching. We tried our hand at dating while he was stationed in Japan. It just didn't work out for us. Fast forward years later he reaches back out to me. I never knew this is where we would land. But we did. It was a bumpy road for sure. But I'm the happiest I've ever been.
