Moises and I met at Golden State Baptist College. During my first semester of freshman year in 2017, Moises asked me out on our first date which was to the corn maze. We had an amazing first date, but God had other plans and we decided to wait for the right timing.

Through some bumps on the road, we eventually had our second date over a year later at Christmas in the Park in December of 2018.

Slowly our relationship began to grow and on August 10, 2019 Moises asked me to be his girlfriend. Yay! We were finally official.

When the pandemic struck and the borders closed, it became quite more challenging in our long distance relationship. We were apart for over 5 months. God definitely taught us to never take for granted each moment we have together. I was finally able to fly down to California at the end of July. In my mind I thought I was going to surprise him, little did I know that he already knew I was coming because he had a surprise of his own that was brewing. During a lovely evening in Pismo, we drove up to a beautiful lookout and on July 31, 2020 Moises would get down on one knee and pop the question.

We are very excited for March 20,2021 and the future of the Perez family.
