James had been a work colleague, gym partner, and good friends with Brianna’s dad for years before the two of them officially met during the summer of 2019. Brianna challenged James to a game of cornhole by the pool (she won of course), and when the song Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen came on, they both started jamming out. Little did they know, a few weeks later, their first date would be a rock concert at the York Fairgrounds when her parents gifted her 2 tickets to see Tesla, Jackyl, and Kix - which she asked James to be her plus one. Their friendship continued to grow, but it wasn’t until the Fall when their relationship really sparked during the trip to Tennessee with her family.

James “officially” asked Brianna to be his girlfriend on October 7, 2019 after seeing the movie It Chapter 2 in theaters. If you’ve seen this movie, take a peek at their photos from their engagement session and you’ll find an “Easter Egg” hidden in the background. James and Brianna enjoyed traveling and exploring historic towns. Gettysburg has become a significant location for them, as this was their first historic town they ventured to. Some other places they have traveled to are… Cape May, NJ, St. Augistine, FL, Hilton Head, SC, Harpers Ferry, WV, Jim Thorpe, PA , Washington, DC to name a few.

James proposed to Brianna during the summer of 2022 in Lewes, DE. He had a sunset picnic set up on the beach, asked Brianna to take a walk down the beach rocks, and when she turned around there was James on one knee! Needless to say, Brianna said yes. And from there, the rest is history.
