Location of Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception

All 3 events will be held at Yinzer Valley Farms! Order of events: Ceremony, Cocktail hour, Reception

Indoor vs Outdoor Events

Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. The ceremony will be in grass with a cement walkway to the alter. Cocktail hour will be held on the patio which can be accessed via paved walkways. Additional cocktail hour seating will be set up in the grass. There are also hanging chairs and a fire pit for you to enjoy! Our reception will be indoors with air conditioning / heating available. You're welcome to head back outside to the Cocktail patio if desired. See "Inclement Weather Plan" for additional details.

Inclement Weather Plan

The safety of our friends and family is at the upmost importance to us! Should there be inclement weather, a plan will be communicated via text / email through The Knot. See "The Knot Text / Email Notifications" for additional info.

Typical Weather

Pennsylvania weather can sometimes be unpredictable. In May 2024, the average temperature was 75°F. Attire

Arrival

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time (listed on invitation) to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and soaking up all of the excitement! At a minimum, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. To ensure we stay on schedule, we will be starting on time. If you arrive late, we will try to sneak you in the back. If this is not possible, we'll see you at cocktail hour!

Parking

There is an asphalt parking lot with white lines for you to park in. Don't worry, it will hold everyone! Please only park between the lines and do not park on the grass. Once parked, please head into the red brick, octagon shaped building (straight up the hill from parking lot). Someone will be there to direct you.

Leaving Car Overnight

If needed, you may leave your vehicle (at your own risk) in the parking lot overnight and pick it up the following morning. We ask that if there are any doubts, please have your car stay. An alternative mode of transportation can be found to get you home safely. If you need help please ask!

Seating

You may sit anywhere you like at the ceremony and cocktail hour. At the ceremony, there will be reserved signs placed on some chairs in the front. Please do not move signage and/or sit in these. To ensure all guests are comfortable and have an enjoyable experience at our reception, a seating chart will be available near the steps.

ADA Accessability

Overall, the grounds are mainly flat, allowing access to pretty much every part of our celebration! There is a chair lift available for you to use to get up the steps to the reception. If you would like to utilize the chair lift, need additional accommodations, or have any questions / concerns at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to Bri or Tyler. It is important to us that all guests can attend without having any worries!

RSVP (online only)

To help with our planning, please don't wait to RSVP! For your (and our) convenience, we will only be accepting RSVPs via The Knot. On your formal invitation, there will be a link listed for you to find the online RSVP form. You will have to search for your name. The name(s) we used to address the envelope will be how they're listed on The Knot's guest list. Please follow the prompts to enter in your answers and submit your response. You may edit your response later if needed. If you need help, please contact Bri or Tyler! Thank you so much for your timely responses!

The Knot Text / Email Notifications

When RSVPing, a questions will ask for your cell phone number and email address. By inputing these, you're consenting for us to send you info regarding our wedding. Note: Text and data rates may apply. Tyler and Bri will be the only ones who have access to your information and will be writing all notifications. It is imperative to include this so you receive the most up to date info! Example notification: details regarding inclement weather plan.

Guests / Plus Ones

Although we wish we could share the day with everyone, we're at capacity for our venue! If you received a plus one, your invitation will be addressed to you and a guest (ex. Jane Doe and Guest). If you would like to bring a plus one and it's not listed on your invitation, are unsure, or have any other questions / concerns, please contact Bri or Tyler for clarification and / or to see if the numbers will allow.

Kiddos

While we love your children, we ask that only kids formally invited attend due to our limited guest list. If your kiddos are included, your invitation will be addressed noting this (ex. Joe & Sally Smith & Kids). You will be able to RSVP for them under your name. We do plan to have kid friendly activities and hope to see them on the dance floor! If you're unsure, need clarification, or have any questions / concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Bri or Tyler!

I already RSVPd "no" but can now attend (and vise versa)

We know plans change, so no worries! If the RSVP deadline has not passed yet, you can go in and edit your RSVP. If the RSVP deadline has passed, you will not be able to edit your RSVP. Please reach out to Bri or Tyler ASAP to see if final numbers have already been submitted.

Photo / video during ceremony

We are asking that during our ceremony everyone remains "unplugged" (aka electronics away and on silent). We've hired wonderful photographers and videographers to help capture these special moments. Once we receive these, we will happily share them with you!

Prior to the ceremony and during our cocktail hour / reception, please take all of the photos and videos you want! Be sure to upload them using the QR code posted . If posting on social media, please use our hashtag. See "How to Upload Photo/Video to QR Code" and "Wedding Hashtag" for more details. We cannot wait to see all of the priceless moments you capture!

Catering / Menu

Food will be served in a buffet style. We're still working on finalizing our menu! Check out "dietary restrictions" for additional details.

Dietary Restrictions

When you RSVP, there will be a questions where you can list any dietary restrictions you have (ex. vegan, gluten free, nut free)! We will communicate foods / drinks that contain possible allergens once the menu is finalized. Our caterer/venue will be aware and know to take every measure possible to avoid cross contamination. It is very important to us that there are inclusive food options available. We want everyone leave happy and with a full belly!

Non-Alcoholic Drinks

All guests will have access to bottomless non-alcoholic drinks. Our menu will include the following: Coke, Diet Coke/Pepsi, Ginger ale, Sprite, cranberry juice, orange juice, tonic water, club soda, lemonade, tea, and water.

Outside Beverages

No outside alcohol is allowed. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Our bar will include wine and beer only (no hard liquor or mixed drinks). It will close 1 hour prior to the end of the reception. In total, our bar will be available for 5 hours. Make sure to have a valid photo ID to show the bartenders. Per PA state law, no one under 21 may drink alcohol. If you feel so inclined, our bartenders love cash tips!

Song Requests at Reception

A song request section will be available on the RSVP forms. Please list a few songs you'd love to hear on the dance floor! You can edit this after submitting your RSVP, so don't delay! Unfortunately, our DJ will not be able to honor requests made at the reception. We cannot wait to see all of the great music you request!

Wedding Reception End Time

Our wedding reception will end at 11pm EST. We hope that you can join us for the entire celebration!

There will be designated smoking / vaping locations outside of all buildings. Please do not smoke or vape indoors.
