Travel-Related Questions
What is the weather like in Colorado Springs in July?
The average July high in Colorado Springs is 84 F. It is a nice, dry heat. It can cool down a bit in the evening, so a light jacket is recommended if you get chilly easily. Also please be aware that afternoon rain showers can be common during the summer months, but often don't last more than an hour. If you are planning to go into the mountains, definitely consider additional layers, as it gets chilly at elevation and the weather is much more unpredictable.
What is there to do in Colorado Springs?
So much! Please check out our things-to-do tab to see recommendations in the area.
What airport should I fly into?
Colorado Springs will be closer, however there are far more direct flights into Denver. From Denver Airport, downtown Colorado Springs is about an hour and 20 minute drive. If you are flying in and out of Denver, please ensure you arrive to the airport at least 2 hours early, as it can be a pretty hectic airport.
Are there hotel blocks available for booking?
Yes! Please visit our Travel page for all relevant info. Please note that all hotels listed are right next to each other, and if the hotels don't interest you, there are also a few other hotels in the same area, all within walking distance of each other. The hotels are located about a 25-minute drive away from the venue, but are some of the closest to the venue, while also being very accessible to Colorado Springs. The cutoff date for booking on all hotel blocks is June 26. 2024.
Should I rent a car?
If you plan to fly in/out of Denver, or want to explore the area a bit, we would recommend it. While there is ride-share in Colorado Springs, if you plan to venture into the mountains at all it's not accessible. Additionally, our hotel blocks are about 10 minutes outside of downtown Colorado Springs, so there's not a ton within walking distance. Of course, it is completely up to you!
