What's the dress code?

New Orleans Formal! It’s a vibe we made up, but we want you to have fun with it! Think laissez les bons temps rouler meets your most fabulous attire. Time to let the good times (and the glam) roll! PSA: Weather permitting, we’re planning a second-line parade from the ceremony to the reception! So, be sure to wear shoes you’re comfortable parading in for about half a mile.

What's a second-line?

A second line is a lively, traditional New Orleans parade that’s part of the city’s unique culture! Originating from jazz funeral processions, the "first line" is the main parade with a brass band, and the "second line" is everyone who joins in the celebration, dancing and waving handkerchiefs or parasols. Today, it’s a joyful, music-filled celebration for any occasion! Our second-line will be from St. George's Episcopal Church to the Columns on St. Charles Avenue. This will be a flat 0.5 mile walk so make sure to dress accordingly!

Are there children invited to the reception?

We love your kiddos but the reception will be adults only.

Is there a hotel block?

We didn’t reserve a hotel block, but there are plenty of stunning spots along St. Charles Ave for a perfect stay! Want something more personal? Check out Airbnb and snag your own charming Creole cottage.
