David met Bridget in the spring of 2013 when Bridget was hired at a company where Dave had been working. Almost immediately they became great friends and, not to sugarcoat things, after-work drinking buddies. Not too long after, in March of 2014, they declared their feelings for one another and started dating officially. Two years later, in June of 2016, Dave proposed in Union Square Park and Bridget delightedly said "yes!".
