Ever since I've known Michael (and way before that) I've been obsessed with Corgis. Half of my photo album on my phone is pictures of Corgis, I would always be looking them up and showing him pictures, and had a bumper sticker even though I didn't actually have a corgi myself LOL. The day Mikey proposed I was on my way home from a work presentation when a close girlfriend of ours, Genna, called saying she was at work and her neighbor called her and her door was wide open. She told me she was scared her cat might have ran out, and wanted Michael and I to go and check before it got dark out. Obviously I was freaking out, called Michael and met him at her house (She lives on the beach). When we got there, we ran up her steps and searched for the cat. Mikey, from her balcony, said he saw the cat on the beach ... and I fell for it right away of course. We ran down the steps and onto the beach (Michael went to hold my hand and I was like uhhh why are you trying to be romantic right now the cat ????????) and Michael ran towards one of the dunes saying he sees him. I ran around to the other side (thinking I'm about to tackle this cat) and here comes Michael walking up towards me with the cutest Corgi puppy in the world with a ring around his bow tie collar (and Genna with a camera that she accidentally didn't take a single picture with, whoops!!). It was the most confusing, amazing moment of my life. My favorite part of the proposal was when we are both squatted down, I grab his hands and ask him if this is real! It truly was magical.
