Our Wedding

It all started in the summer of 2021. Kevin, officially over the dating scene in Greenville, NC, decided to broaden his matchmaking horizons to Raleigh. Meanwhile, Bridget had just graduated and moved to Raleigh—unknowingly stepping right into the path of fate (and Kevin’s extended Hinge radius). Like any good modern love story, we matched on Hinge—sorry, Grandma, that’s just how it works these days! After a few weeks of texting (and neither of us quite willing to make the hour-and-a-half drive), our story looked destined for the archives of “what could have been.” But fate—and Instagram—had other plans. In December 2021, Bridget got a puppy: the adorable, irresistible Willow. Kevin, captivated by Willow’s cuteness (and maybe Bridget’s too), swiped up on her story. Then, in February 2022, another story caught his eye. As luck would have it, he and his friends were planning a trip to Raleigh for a Capitals vs. Hurricanes hockey game and thought, “Why not finally meet?” Bridget’s first text after seven months?“Regretting not replying to these lol”A classic ghosting recovery! We finally met in March 2022 on the upper-level concourse at PNC Arena—Kevin in the beer line with his friends, Bridget on the hunt for a bratwurst (if you know, you know). And just like that, we hit it off. From the start, we connected over our shared values—our love for family and friends, a deep drive in our careers, our passion for sports (including a Patriots vs. Ravens rivalry and Kevin realizing he’d missed out on SEC football—Go Vols!), and a mutual love of music. For a year and a half, we made the long-distance thing work—driving back and forth between Greenville and Raleigh, racking up mileage and proving our commitment. Then, in the summer of 2023, we started a new chapter: moving to Boston together, starting new jobs with our companies, and supporting one another every step of the way. On July 13, 2024, Kevin popped the big question in the Carroll Gardens—just steps from St. Mary’s Church, where we’ll be married on June 20, 2026. It’s also where Bridget went to school K-12 and one of her favorite places in the world. By September 2024, we hit another big milestone: buying our first home! Since then, we’ve been deep in DIY projects, learning that love is built on a solid foundation of patience, teamwork, and frequent Home Depot runs. We love to stay busy—always chasing our next concert, trip, or experience. Road trips to Newport, Annapolis, New York, Hilton Head, Charleston, Knoxville, and beyond. Flying throughout the country to California, Seattle, Cleveland, and Chicago to see the people we love. And international adventures to Milan, Geneva, Frankfurt, Tortola, and St. Martin. We’ve danced and sung our hearts out at concerts from Elton John to Noah Kahan, Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapleton, Hozier, Zach Bryan, and Morgan Wallen. Looking back at where it all began—and everything that’s come since—we’re incredibly grateful for every twist, turn, long drive, and laugh along the way. We've built a life full of adventure, hard work, and bringing out the best in each other. We can’t wait to take the next step—surrounded by the people we love most—on June 20, 2026!

Photo ID is required for adults, and we recommend checking in at the Visitor Center for tour times and details!

United States Naval Academy

A true Maryland classic, Mike’s Crab House is the perfect spot to enjoy steamed blue crabs, fresh seafood, and waterfront views. Located just a short drive from downtown Annapolis, Mike’s offers a laid-back atmosphere right on the South River—ideal for cracking crabs with a cold drink in hand. Whether you're a seasoned crab-picker or trying it for the first time, this is a must-visit for the full Chesapeake Bay experience! Bridget worked here for 6 years!

Hop aboard Annapolis' iconic water taxi for a relaxing and scenic ride around the harbor! It's a unique way to see the city from the water and easily get between downtown, Eastport, and nearby waterfront spots. Whether you're heading to a restaurant, exploring a new area, or just enjoying the breeze, the water taxi is a fun and memorable part of the Annapolis experience. A beloved Annapolis institution, Chick &amp; Ruth’s Delly is known for its huge sandwiches, homemade pies, and old-school diner charm. This family-owned spot has been serving up hearty breakfasts, overstuffed deli classics, and milkshakes since 1965. Don’t be surprised if you hear the Pledge of Allegiance recited in the morning—it's part of the unique tradition here! It's the perfect stop for a casual, classic Annapolis experience.
