Both raised in the rural and scenic Green Township their paths crossed at a very young age. Connor was first introduced to the Schultz's through the bride's brother Brandon. Connor and Brandon were in the same class, same friend group, and played on the same sports teams all through elementary and high school.

Connor and Bridget reconnected at a mutual friend's wedding in the summer of 2022. After spending a year long distance, Connor moved up to Boston to be with Bridget during her final year of dental school. During their time in Boston together, they rescued a pup named Maycie. After Bridget graduated, they relocated to Yucca Valley, California. While living in Yucca Valley, the couple decided to rescue another pup named Penny. In March of 2025, Connor proposed to Bridget in their home. In July the couple is moving back to the east coast where they will be living in the Virginia Beach area.
