Rugby, a t-shirt and the rest is history...

Bridget and Ian's story began during a chance meeting in Brighton, MA after a Charles River rugby game. Bridget's roommate and Ian were teammates, and were celebrating a victory at Bridget's apartment. Bridget's Sunapee t-shirt prompted Ian to strike up a conversation - something he isn't exactly known to do. During that first conversation, they discovered that Ian's family cottage is located in the same town where Bridget grew up.

A week later, Bridget and Ian went on their first date. Things blossomed from there and they quickly knew they had found something special! Fast forward three years, they have settled into their home in Medford, MA and welcomed Finn into their family. In May, Ian surprised Bridget (who was completely clueless) by asking her to marry him. It was a perfectly planned proposal and engagement celebration!
