Bridget and Will first met in a Chik-fil-a after a young adults group with Grace Church! Bridget walked in with a Big Mac (because she's allergic to the peanut oil they use), and when they were introduced by mutual friends, Will questioned why she had a Big Mac at Chik-fil-a. Their conversation was good, but neither one was looking for a relationship.

About a week later they were both invited to a Quincenera for a mutual friend's little sister. Somewhere across the eveening there was a point that all their friends were dancing except for them. Bridget felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit to ask him to dance. Afraid he might say no, Bridget tapped him on the shoulder and asked, "Would you like to dance?" They danced until she had to leave, but everyone knew it wasn't over. Will asked her out for a date the next day.

They visited a young adults group at Zoe Church, after which Bridget asked to go for a ride in his dad's convertible. Keeping their destination secret, Will agreed, and opened the door for her. To her surprise they pulled up to the airport and found a spot to watch the planes. They spent their time sitting, talking, and watching the planes until 2am. He asked her to be his girlfriend 2 weeks later and wife 7 month after that!
