The Beginnings

Sebastian and Bridget met Sunday, September 4th, 2022 outside of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish. After mass it is typical for people to gather and converse on the front steps. Bridget had attended church with her friend, Audrey Hartweck. Sebastian had spotted Bridget during mass, realizing he was friends with most of the people around her, yet he did not know her. He thought she was cute and found himself immediately interested. After mass, Audrey spotted Brock and Sebastian on the steps and approached them to catch up about the new school year escapades. In the meantime, she reintroduced Brock to Bridget and introduced Sebastian to Bridget, who despite attending the same small college had never crossed paths. September 10, 2022

Bridget and Sebastian crossed paths again a week later, September 10th, 2022, when she visited RockCreek brewing Company to find Sebastian working there. Sebastian did not warn Bridget of the terrors of Gluten-Free beer. Brock stopped by RockCreek and finished the horrid drink, not to much pleasure.

At Rockcreek, Bridget mentioned a welcoming party of a friend, Garrett Richard and asked if Sebastian was going. Sebastian, unaware of the party, decided to make an appearance after his shift in an effort to talk to Bridget more. At this party, Bridget found Sebastian wildly funny and actively decided to mentally friendzone him. That obviously did not last long.

At the end of the gathering, Bridget ambitiously invited the crowd to join the casual Sunday sand volleyball league, to which Sebastian joined for a few weeks, where he eventually found himself asking for Bridget’s number.

Three days later, at the “Tuesdays at the Boulevard” event Kansas City’s Catholic Young Adults put on at Bouelvard Brewing Company, they cross paths again. Upon seeing Bridget, Sebastian seized his opportunity to spend more time around her. Bridget, noticing Sebastian’s attentiveness in opening doors, genuine conversation, and walking her to her car, found him walking straight out of the friendzone and into a new-found crush. Three days later, at the “Tuesdays at the Boulevard” event Kansas City’s Catholic Young Adults put on at Bouelvard Brewing Company, they cross paths again. Upon seeing Bridget, Sebastian seized his opportunity to spend more time around her. Bridget, noticing Sebastian’s attentiveness in opening doors, genuine conversation, and walking her to her car, found him walking straight out of the friendzone and into a new-found crush. The photo to the right was a week later when Bridget invited Sebastian to her brunch date with Lilly Sappington because she liked Sebastian.
A month after that first get together at Garrett's house, October 10th, 2022, Sebastian and Bridget found themselves together again at his home for a chiefs watch party. In the picture found to the right, it can be seen Brock being a good wingman and saving a designated space on the couch for Sebastian, who was running late from another meeting. At said party, Bridget and Sebastian chatted all evening. Sebastian finished the night by asking Bridget to join him for brunch at Room39 that next Sunday, October 15th, 2022, which would be their first date.

October 10, 2022

A month after that first get together at Garrett's house, October 10th, 2022, Sebastian and Bridget found themselves together again at his home for a chiefs watch party. In the picture found to the right, it can be seen Brock being a good wingman and saving a designated space on the couch for Sebastian, who was running late from another meeting. At said party, Bridget and Sebastian chatted all evening. October 27, 2022

Two weeks and another date later, Bridget was preparing to attend a wedding in St. Louis. Sebastian, knowing it would be a while before they would see each other again, was anxious to secure the relationship. The Thursday before Bridget left, October 27th, 2022, Sebastian visited her apartment as she was packing, and it was made official.
