Our story, like most in this modern dating era, began online, a twist of luck that felt anything but random. We matched and instantly connected, bonding over our shared passions - the Toronto Maple Leafs, good music, stupid jokes, and our mutual appreciation for an ice cold beer. Our first date was exactly that. We watched the leaf game downtown while drinking a *few* beers then stayed up til the early hours of the morning because we couldnt stop talking, laughing, and learning more about each other.


Not a day has passed without us talking since that first conversation on a dating app. Turns out, our paths had already crossed in a way we never expected when we discovered that Bridgette, a NICU nurse, had actually cared for Jimmys cousin Dara’s new baby girl just a few weeks before we met - a coincidence that felt like more than mere chance.


It didnt take long and we made downtown Toronto our home together, sharing our space with our golden retriever Koa and our cat, Leia. Everyday in the city is a new adventure for us.
In February 2023, we escaped to Hawaii, where we got engaged against the incredible golden sunset on Waikiki Beach (having to bail on the Superbowl at the bar as it went into OT, because Jimmy could not miss the sunset for the proposal). A few days later, we flew halfway across the world to Australia for our first adventure as an engaged couple.


Just over a year since that sunset on Waikiki beach and many adventures later, we find ourselves here, ecstatic and ready to take the next step in our life together. We could not be more thrilled to get to share this day with so many of our loved ones. We wouldnt be here without so many of you.
