When Bridgit says in her version of "How We Met" that I will say she's lying, she might be correct. However, she will absolutely say the same exact thing about my version I'm about to tell you - the only difference is that my version is actually 100% true.

The truth is that Bridgit's entrance into my life completely transformed me, but she will have you believe this "entrance" happened from my perspective a lot later than it actually did. I noticed Bridgit's majestic singing voice and radiant beauty the second she joined Lord's Chords at Fairfield University, from the back row of the choir section (shout out to my back row boys, Kevin and Tommy, and at rare times Giv and Brendan). Although it's true that I was in a relationship at that time (you're welcome for being a faithful young man!), I will never forget Bridgit's unstoppable ability to be positive, cheerful, energetic, adventurous, and helpful in every single moment of her life - I've witnessed all of this firsthand. Finally, Bridgit and I were able to spend time together on Kairos, and although she tried to kill me by forcing me to learn how to perform a dangerous somersault, those seemingly never-ending conversations of the weekend convinced me she was the person I wanted to be with forever.

It's truly unbelievable to me that Bridgit still sticks with me, especially after having to design make-up for a 21-year-old Liam performing in a crazy play, or even continuously and passionately supporting me throughout my early career changes. I cannot wait to make this superstar my wife.
