Kevin and Brie met in December 2020, during the peak of COVID. They had their first date in the freezing cold of downtown Plymouth, where they had to walk around outside because restaurants were closed. They eventually ended up chatting in Kevin’s truck for the last hour of the date because it was too cold to be outside anymore.

One month later in January 2021, they still hadn’t had a restaurant date yet because everything was still closed. So they dressed up in fancy dinner clothes, Kevin cooked shrimp scampi, and they had a “restaurant” dinner date at home. It was that night Kevin officially asked Brie to be his girlfriend!

They had their first adventure together in February 2021, when Brie invited Kevin to travel down to Marco Island with her, her mom, and her grandparents. They finally had their first restaurant date at none other than The Oyster Society! A meal that can’t be topped. Brie’s family loved Kevin right away, and Lala said later, “I knew he was the one for you when I first met him.”

From there, they’ve had many other adventures and now live in Novi with their two cats. Life together is wonderful and they’re so excited for October 2025!
