The U.S. National Whitewater Center is just outside of Charlotte and offers tons of outdoor adventure, including whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip-lining, mountain biking, and hiking.

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden helps all find their path to nature in all seasons. The breathtaking Visitor Pavilion welcomes visitors to 30 acres of spectacular gardens including the Lost Hollow Children’s Garden, a conservatory dedicated to the display of tropical plants and orchids, a dry Piedmont Prairie, annual and perennial displays, sparkling fountains, walking trails and more.
